Exhibit Your Potentials with a University Degree
When you need the degree and still need to hold on to your job and continually meet family and societal needs, then the veritable option is an online program. Western Ville University offers hundreds of online classes, conditioned to suit your convenience because it doesn’t have to be difficult and you don’t have to feel like ‘fish out of water’ just because it’s been long since you left schooling and studying. Perhaps your choice is to pick up an extra class, take summer classes at home, explore a new subject, or add flexibility to your class schedule, an online class is a great option. WVU offers hundreds of online classes that are open to both current WVU students and the general public.
Here are a few things you should know before signing up for an online class:
- You access your course content and materials through the Virtual Learning Management System.
- Online classes are typically semester based, with designated start and end dates.
- Online classes typically have deadlines for assignments, projects, and exams.
- Online classes carry the same credit as on-campus classes.
- An online class may require you to take an exam in the presence of an approved proctor.
Students who learn online have access to all of WVU Libraries’ resources in many subject areas through the Libraries’ website. This includes research databases, electronic journals, e-books, articles, books and other research materials. For specific assistance in subject areas, contact the librarian.
To participate, when you have decided on the program and course to undertake, complete the Application Form just like a regular student and indicate the online option. After a successful appraisal of your application, an admission letter will be issued accordingly, showing all vital information about all that you need to know, ranging from duration, program course work, fees, registration on the Virtual Classroom Contact Platform (VCCP), tutors, etc.
