Scholarship for Resident and Non-resident Students.

All students interested in enjoying the kindheartedness and financial support provided by our several funding partners, both individual and corporate, must first apply for a scholarship award to study at WVU. Poor and economically disadvantaged countries stand a higher chance of getting their requests approved while it is advisable that those who have the financial capabilities to pay for their programs be encouraged to do so in order to afford many more get access to tertiary education. Students are also advised to inquire from their introducing agents if their programs of choice are classified as eligible for scholarship funding or if justifiable waivers for such can be obtained on compassionate grounds.

Eligibility

To access the WVU scholarship, applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Come from and reside in any of the developing countries classified by the IMF as such (see list here). These students can use the discount code of DEVELOPING in the checkout process to receive a 50% discount. An international student will retain the 50% developing country tuition surcharge credit as long as the student’s enrollment status remains uninterrupted through the academic years.
  • Meet all the entry requirements for undergraduate or taught postgraduate degree program of the University.
  • Meet the English language proficiency entry requirement.
  • Hold a valid provisional offer letter to study at WVU.
  • Scholarships available to fresh applicants only. Current students of the WVU not initially on scholarship at the point of entry are not eligible to reapply.
  • Scholarships are available for full time courses only. Part time students are not eligible to apply.

Noted: Applicants can not apply any other scholarship or financial support at WVU.

CONFIRMED MEASURES

• Bonus for meritorious students is transferable for use in enrolment during the subsequent academic year;
• Full exemption for first-year students who score 100/100 in their Diploma program;
• Tuition fee reductions for first-year students who score 95/100 or better in their Diploma program;
• Special reductions for families with more than one sibling enrolled at WVU.
Approximately 5,000 students, nearly two-thirds of currently enrolled students, benefit from this tuition fee cuts.

2017-2018 TUITION FEES

For Graduate and Master’s degree programs, the tuition fees are in two parts that aggregate homogeneous faculties or degree programs: the interfaculty courses involve the Faculty in charge of administrative management; additional charges may also apply.

FEES FOR FOREIGN & OFF-CAMPUS STUDENTS

Foreign students are in developing and underdeveloped countries categories. A blanket concession of 80% of fees payable above by on-campus students is given.
